We cannot thank you, DJ Meghan, enough for an outstanding job keeping everyone entertained at the 1st Communion reception yesterday afternoon! I had so many guests tell me how pleased they were with you and we all had a blast. You will be recommended often for sure. Keep up the great work!
We got matched with DJ Tyler Campbell through our venue, Granite Rose, and we could not have been happier! Tyler was an amazing DJ and his taste in music matched ours perfectly. SO many people asked us if we provided the DJ with the song list because it was that on point. It was all the songs we listened to and partied to, a great mix of oldies from our teen years and new songs. And multiple people commented on how he had the volume at the perfect level- loud enough to feel like a party but not loud enough to make your ears ring or deter you from talking on the dance floor. I don’t think I ever saw the dance floor go empty (except when desserts came out and everyone sat back down to eat), and the fact that most of our friends stayed until closing time at 10pm on a Sunday speaks to how awesome Tyler was as a DJ.
DJ was excellent! The sound during the ceremony was perfect! Not too loud, and not too soft. We had wanted an organist, but Adam made sure we did not miss having one. This continued through the whole night. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. No one wanted to leave. We’d recommend him to anyone – and already have! Thank you Adam for making our wedding such a success!!!
Tom Darling was very professional and friendly to work with! Our wedding day was the most amazing experience, and having Tom there eased a lot of stress and unknowns as he was great at keeping things flowing. As the bride I had communication with him all night and he just smiled at me and made sure it went well. From the first song we had a dance floor filled with people and each song played was amazing. He was the perfect entertainer and DJ for our special day. We cannot thank Tom enough and think of him very highly!
We weren’t really sure what to expect going in but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The team at Main Event Entertainment greeted us right away. They were friendly and welcoming. They took the time to ask about our needs and go over their offerings with us. My fiance and I had joked about sampling DJ’s in order to find one for our wedding. In reality, this was the perfect opportunity to do just that. We really got a feel for each DJ and what sort of energy and experience they brought to the table. I’d recommend this experience to any couples planning their wedding and looking for the right DJ.
Hayden was our DJ for our wedding on 1.21.24. He was spectacular throughout the entire day and every meeting leading up to the wedding. We definitely didn’t make it easy for him during our meetings but he worked through it with us and was extremely courteous & professional each time. Hayden had an incredible music selection and matched our tastes perfectly! Could not be happier. Thank you so much!
Our DJ Tom Darling was so amazing! From going out in the heat and humidity making sure our sound checks were perfect for the ceremony to understanding our facial cues when my husband and I didn’t realize how long 40 seconds was for our first dance! Tom was fantastic. There’s always a bit of concern when a Dj says they’ll read the room to interpret what type of music to play and make sure the night flows, but with Tom he didn’t read the room, he wrote it! If you book Tom, and I highly suggest you do, make sure he gets up and dances to all the cheesy songs with you. One of the nights shining moments!
JAY WAS AMAZING! Before our event he was very easy to communicate with through email. Always responded quickly and was helpful. He fully understood our personalities and the atmosphere we were going for. He was accommodating so much so that he watched a TV show we asked him to watch so he would understand how we wanted to be introduced. He was funny, professional, prompt, kept the flow moving and was not corny (my biggest fear with DJs). I am sad our wedding is over because now it means we won’t have Jay reaching out to us- honestly he became one of our friends through this because he was that awesome! Everyone should use Jay!
My husband and I hired Tom Darling for our wedding on 9/30/23. Tom was such a pleasure to work with, incredibly kind and super fun! He did such an amazing job keeping the party going and reading the crowd. He was also super accommodating and did everything he could to make our day special! We loved his work and would absolutely recommend him to other brides.
DJ Kibar was absolutely amazing!! He kept us updated on when we were doing any of our games and special things! He kept the guests on their feet, moving and having a great time!!! We couldn’t of had a better DJ!!!!
Matt was absolutely fabulous! He was so attentive and flexible the entire day! Every moment of the day he checked in with us to make sure we were happy! He did everything exactly how we wanted and was overall the best DJ I have ever seen!

Matt did an amazing job at our wedding. He was polite, courteous and did everything we had discussed at our meetings. We asked for a couple changes last minute and he was so calm and amazing about it. He was fun and all our guests made comments on how terrific our dj was and asked us where we found him so if they needed an entertainer they could look him up, they loved him. Our wedding reception was a lot of fun and Matt was a major reason why. We would use his services and Main Event again definitely. Thanks you so much for helping make our big day a huge success.

He helped us make music decisions in places we were really stuck, and helped bring our dreams to reality. He kept everyone engaged and our dance floor was packed all night! Adam was the perfect person for our day!
The PhotoBooth attendees were amazing! They helped everyone out and printed photos for everyone in the group. They even grabbed us to take photos with some props! Very personable!
My wife and I got married on October 14, 2023. DJ Dan Pelletier was a fantastic wedding DJ! He made the dancing at our wedding night extremely fun and memorable for everyone. My wife and I had a fantastic time on the dancefloor thanks to DJ Dan’s musical choices and our guests are still reminiscing on what a fun time the dancing was. He let us have some “must-have requests” and played some guests requests. Dan also did a great job keeping our timeline on track, directing guests, and general wedding logistics. DJ Dan is thoughtful, professional, and an all-around terrific DJ. Highly recommend!

I am not sure I can adequately explain how thrilled not only my husband and I were, but since the event I’ve had numerous phone calls full of praise him. Jay was the DJ for my combined 70th birthday and retirement party and we had asked for fairly specific artists, as the crowd was a bit older than what you would typically find at a wedding. However, the way Jay spun those tunes and the dancing on the floor, you would have thought you were in fact at a wedding! What a party! What a FABULOUS time! Over and above that, Jay is personable, knowledgeable and very professional and fun! I know we would hire him again in a heartbeat and I’m pretty sure some of the guests have his contact information. You won’t be disappointed going with Jay!
Meagan did a great job being our wedding content creator! She sent us all of our raw and edited files within a few days of the wedding and we will be able to cherish the memories she captured forever! She met with us multiple times before our day and made sure we were all on the same page of what was most important to us, she arrived on time, communicated with our photographer, and she was so fun! Everyone at Main Event Entertainment was kind, personable, and resourceful! The showcase is such a great way to get to know DJ(s) prior to choosing a company and/or DJ for your wedding. All of our questions were answered, and we never felt pressured to go with any of the DJs we met or make any decisions that night. I think every company should host events like this. By attending, it alleviate any stress we had about hiring our DJ for our wedding and learned a ton of information about a wonderful company, who truly enjoys what they do and how well they treat the couples they work with! I would absolutely recommend Main Event Entertainment as well as recommend attending on of their showcases!
Kevin was very courteous and professional. He kept our event running smoothly and on time. He had a great sense of humor! He kept us at ease from the first meeting all the way through the end of the reception!
DJ Kelly Elliott was phenomenal! We received so many compliments during the reception about how she was doing with her music selection! She knew how to get as many people up and dancing as possible. Kelly walked us through every step of the planning process and made sure we didn’t forget any songs that we needed to choose for any part of our big day. We met Kelly at a wedding expo and my fiance and I were very impressed with her right from the start. She was very professional as well as personable. Throughout the entire process, Kelly was always there to help no matter what we asked and responded to all of our emails promptly. She also gave us great suggestions on things I hadn’t even thought of! After our wedding we had numerous people come up to us and tell us that she was one of the best DJs they had seen in a long time. We have had two couples from our wedding who were recently engaged already contact Kelly for her services. I will recommend Kelly to anyone who is looking for a wonderful DJ for any occasion!
We had Hayden DJ our wedding reception and he was amazing. My wife and I are both close to the same age as him, so when we described the type of music we were looking for, he completely understood and came up with an amazing playlist
Jay made every step of the planning process as easy as possible. He did research on the songs & artists I requested, and it showed. He listened to every single question Clare & I had, and answered them in the quickest fashion. He was on time, if not early, and he was courteous to all the guests. 11/10 for Jay! He even helped to find a song for Clare & I to do our duet! During the reception, he kept things rolling, and fun at the same time! The games were a great suggestion from him, they were a HIT! The music during the reception was awesome, and he RAN the dance floor with the jams. Would recommend to everybody, forever. Cheers!
DJ Matt is the BEST! Not only was communication so easy and thorough, he has a great personality and is so talented. I’m a wedding photographer, so I see a lot of weddings and had no doubt in my mind that I wanted Main Event to be part of my day. Matt had the dance floor packed, was so kind to my family/guests, and has a great set up that suits every space. 10/10 would recommend – Main Event has it down!
The PhotoBooth was a HUGE hit and for anyone thinking they aren’t worth it… you are dead wrong. The attendants were incredible and so helpful the whole night. We chose the option to have them make our guest book with the strips from the booth and it is now a huge conversation piece at our house!
My husband and I got married on 12.18.23 and Hayden was our DJ! When I tell you this man is AMAZING at his job I mean it! He had some of the smoothest transitions, I have ever heard when it comes to music! We are predominantly metal and rock enthusiast, and Hayden picked out songs that were so in line for what we were wanting. To toss in some Christmas music as well was perfect, it got everyone up and jumping! There were so many compliments that came in from our families, saying that Hayden was one of the best DJs they’ve ever heard. He helped make our special day even better, and my husband and I are forever grateful that we got paired with him! Hayden, thank you so much for making our wedding amazing!

Had all our family and friends dancing the night away. He was timely, respectful, fun, and i trusted him completely! Affordable for this industry. Would definitely hire him over and over again. Brien Lafferty was amazing. We had a small-ish informal wedding in September. Brien’s choice of music allowed EVERYONE the opportunity to get up and dance, fast or slow. I think songs should vary in that way so all can have fun. Ive been to weddings where there may be just a handful of slower songs and I feel that its not always enjoyable for the people that dont like to get up and dance the faster ones. I really appreciated Brien’s decision to change it up. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so much fun and memorable!
Thank you very much! We had an excellent time and Dan was terrific. Many of our guests commented positively on the music after the wedding, telling us it was hard to stay off the dance floor. Event with a smaller wedding than we originally intended, we felt like the dance floor was always active. The atmosphere was great throughout the entire event. The lead up to the event was terrific, Dan did a great job communicating with us and taking notes of our preferences. We felt at ease going into our wedding having no doubt that we were going to get what we wanted and asked for. We would definitely recommend Dan to our friends and family in the future. The whole concept of meeting the DJs available on your date and hearing their story was great and so helpful in making a connection and finding someone you jive with. Everyone we met with was super friendly and knowledgeable. The dj we had in mind wasn’t at the night we went to but meeting everyone helped solidify us wanting to work with Main Event Entertainment for our wedding.
Meet the DJs Night was AWESOME! It was great to chat with some of the DJs and get to know them a little more rather than making a blind decision and risking not having a connection with whoever we chose. Going through the pictures after have made us laugh for day! Being so busy you don’t always get to enjoy the little silly moments and having this album to share and look back on has been amazing!!!
