Going through the pictures after have made us laugh for day! Being so busy you don’t always get to enjoy the little silly moments and having this album to share and look back on has been amazing!!! Brien Lafferty was amazing. We had a small-ish informal wedding in September. Brien’s choice of music allowed EVERYONE the opportunity to get up and dance, fast or slow. I think songs should vary in that way so all can have fun. Ive been to weddings where there may be just a handful of slower songs and I feel that its not always enjoyable for the people that dont like to get up and dance the faster ones. I really appreciated Brien’s decision to change it up. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so much fun and memorable!

I am not sure I can adequately explain how thrilled not only my husband and I were, but since the event I’ve had numerous phone calls full of praise him. Jay was the DJ for my combined 70th birthday and retirement party and we had asked for fairly specific artists, as the crowd was a bit older than what you would typically find at a wedding. However, the way Jay spun those tunes and the dancing on the floor, you would have thought you were in fact at a wedding! What a party! What a FABULOUS time! Over and above that, Jay is personable, knowledgeable and very professional and fun! I know we would hire him again in a heartbeat and I’m pretty sure some of the guests have his contact information. You won’t be disappointed going with Jay!
DJ Rob was awesome!!! He kept the party going at our wedding and even added in a special birthday song for one of our best friends.
The PhotoBooth attendants were so great. They were polite and a lot of fun. They did a great job with the scrapbook and my wife loves the look and presentation of it. The booth was such a highlight. Especially when my sister got my father to wear a dreadlocks wig for one.
The service was incredible. Kevin was so wonderful. He really helped us with the flow of the evening. He really took charge but always stopped to ask us questions so we got what we wanted. So very happy with the job he did. We would totally recommend Main Even and Kevin & Christian to anyone who was in need of a DJ. Well done.
We hired Jay from Main Event for our wedding on 9/30/23. He was AMAZING! He was flexible when we requested to change our timeline DURING the wedding. Had all our family and friends dancing the night away. He was timely, respectful, fun, and i trusted him completely! Affordable for this industry. Would definitely hire him over and over again. Highly recommend!
Adam was our DJ for our 02/10/24 wedding. He was the central piece of our party! As we were planning the wedding, he took the time to get to know us via a zoom call to discuss the details. He helped us make music decisions in places we were really stuck, and helped bring our dreams to reality. He kept everyone engaged and our dance floor was packed all night! Adam was the perfect person for our day!
Kevin was absolutely amazing! The process was so relaxed and easy. We were pretty picky about our music and provided our own playlist, but Kevin put it in the perfect order and added his own remixes to it that really brought it to life. Our dance floor was full the whole night. He was kind, polite, easygoing and fun and we couldn’t recommend him more! Thanks Kevin!!!
My wife Danielle and I had DJ Hayden for our wedding and he was excellent. We had a great feeling about him when we met him for our meeting on Zoom and when it came to the big day, he was spot on. He was very detail oriented, arrived early, and when our procession had a slight delay he adjusted the music on the fly to keep the timing correct. We didn’t have a huge dancing crowd but those of us on the dancefloor had a great time with his awesome music mixes. We would go with Hayden again if we needed another DJ.
Main Event made our day complete with beautiful music and well organized dj services. Tyler was a pleasure to work with, answering all of our questions and making adjustments to the line up when requested. We would recommend Main Event to anyone looking for a quality dj service with great staff, sound equipment, and musical lineups!

Joey made our wedding fun and exciting for everyone. His energy, enthusiasm, and genuine love for being a DJ made our wedding phenomenal. Our friends and family all commented on what a great DJ we had found. Joey is not just a DJ – he makes you feel like you have known him your entire life. He is just as excited as you are to be getting married. He really made us feel special and he rocked the wedding. Never once did he play a song people didn’t wasn’t to sing or dance to. His “Love Story” touched everyone’s heart and was one of our favorite parts of the wedding. DJ Kelly was absolutely amazing. She was always prepared for anything. She truly helped direct us during the chaos of planning a wedding. She was very accessible and dependable! The lighting and music was amazing and it made our wedding a hit! People couldn’t wait to get on the dance floor and didn’t want to get off when the time came. DJ Kibar was incredible! We had a very short time to plan our wedding and he worked with us and even made suggestions for venues. He was always flexible with meeting times and we had open communication. Everyone had an absolute blast and we rocked the dance floor! I need a vow renewal just so I can have DJ Kibar again.
DJ Matt Perez was AMAZING. The energy in the room was crazy right from the start of the night and didn’t end until the very last song. He exuded such professionalism while also being so fun and personable. I couldn’t be more impressed. The first thing our guests told us about our day is how amazing Matt was and how much fun they had on the dance floor. His ability to read the room and play music that we all loved was unmatched. I can’t recommend him enough- he made our day!
The PhotoBooth attendees were amazing! They helped everyone out and printed photos for everyone in the group. They even grabbed us to take photos with some props! Very personable!
Hayden was our DJ for our wedding on 1.21.24. He was spectacular throughout the entire day and every meeting leading up to the wedding. We definitely didn’t make it easy for him during our meetings but he worked through it with us and was extremely courteous & professional each time. Meet the DJs Night was AWESOME! It was great to chat with some of the DJs and get to know them a little more rather than making a blind decision and risking not having a connection with whoever we chose. Everyone was so kind and personable, and it made us feel so comfortable going with Main Event. Everyone was so helpful, and didn’t put pressure on us to choose someone that night. Meagan did a great job being our wedding content creator! She sent us all of our raw and edited files within a few days of the wedding and we will be able to cherish the memories she captured forever! She met with us multiple times before our day and made sure we were all on the same page of what was most important to us, she arrived on time, communicated with our photographer, and she was so fun! JAY WAS AMAZING! Before our event he was very easy to communicate with through email. Always responded quickly and was helpful. He fully understood our personalities and the atmosphere we were going for. He was accommodating so much so that he watched a TV show we asked him to watch so he would understand how we wanted to be introduced. He was funny, professional, prompt, kept the flow moving and was not corny (my biggest fear with DJs). I am sad our wedding is over because now it means we won’t have Jay reaching out to us- honestly he became one of our friends through this because he was that awesome! Everyone should use Jay!
Kibar was a huge hit at our wedding! We are ready knew what he was capable of and he did not disappoint! Our guests absolutely loved him! (As did we) the dance floor was full the whole night and he brought an energy to the place that kept the party going nonstop. He also brought us a bunch of different ideas that we hadn’t even thought of to help make our day unique and entertaining .
Meghan was absolutely wonderful! It was such a pleasure having her DJ our wedding! We will recommend her to our friends who are getting married.
Tom was amazing. He was very charismatic and very polite and before setting up a game or making an announcement he was able to find me or my husband and ask us for timing or how we would like things to go. He was very attentive to the crowd and found songs that keep people dancing the whole time. I really can’t say enough good things about him, he helped keep everything super organized and running well and it took minimal effort on our part.
Joey was nothing but AWESOME! He was perfect! Everyone complimented me on how great he was and said they have never been to such a fun wedding! He made our family ceremony special & I’ll be forever grateful. I would recommend him (and already have) to everyone! Best Wedding ever thanks to Joey!!

Our DJ Tom Darling was so amazing! From going out in the heat and humidity making sure our sound checks were perfect for the ceremony to understanding our facial cues when my husband and I didn’t realize how long 40 seconds was for our first dance! Tom was fantastic. There’s always a bit of concern when a Dj says they’ll read the room to interpret what type of music to play and make sure the night flows, but with Tom he didn’t read the room, he wrote it! If you book Tom, and I highly suggest you do, make sure he gets up and dances to all the cheesy songs with you. One of the nights shining moments!
Our DJ Brien Lafferty was AMAZING! He had the best energy and played such a great variety of music as we had people of all different ages at our wedding. People are still talking about how great the music at our wedding was.! He listened to all of our requests for the songs we wanted in our ceremony introductions, and all of our important dances. His personality completely fit with our wedding guest and really made the entire night a blast.! We couldn’t have asked for a better fit for what we envisioned for our wedding night and highly recommend him for any event you are planning. We will definitely be booking him again for future events we will be hosting!

I attended a wedding this past weekend that Joey Dion was DJing. What a great time!! He was so creative and so much fun!! At no point was he on “auto-pilot”. At one point, in one of the speeches, someone mentioned listening to Bone Thugs N Harmony when they were young, and as they finished the speech, he started playing “Crossroads”. Such a riot!! Everyone got a kick out of it!! He was so involve and kept the dance floor full all night. I’ve never been to an event where a DJ could read a crowd so well. Always full of surprises and had us laughing all night. Thanks for a great time Joey!!
Our DJ Rick Lee was absolutely amazing and NAILED the energy of the room. He brought the party and kept it going all night long. He was very respectful of our “do not play” list & made sure all age groups were satisfied with the song choices in order to get everyone on the dance floor! Our favorite part of the entire wedding was the bridal party entrance and the dancing at the end of the night. He was so patient and supportive of any/all ideas our bridal parties had for their entrance & like I previously said, he got the party started right away and he kept the dance floor alive all night long. He was even able to convert songs that he did not have in order to make our day exactly what we wanted. He even came up with his own ideas to give away our center pieces (so it was one less thing I had to think about!! haha) I cannot say enough good things about DJ Rick Lee. 10/10 would recommend.
We cannot thank you, DJ Meghan, enough for an outstanding job keeping everyone entertained at the 1st Communion reception yesterday afternoon! I had so many guests tell me how pleased they were with you and we all had a blast. You will be recommended often for sure. Keep up the great work!
Kibar was AMAZING! He was on time, organized, kind, and kept the party going! Our dance floor was packed from beginning until end! Kibar made the experience customized to us, and made it very special. Truly wish we could relive the night, we did not want it to end. I would recommend Kibar to anyone! Unforgettable night!
We weren’t really sure what to expect going in but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The team at Main Event Entertainment greeted us right away. They were friendly and welcoming. They took the time to ask about our needs and go over their offerings with us. My fiance and I had joked about sampling DJ’s in order to find one for our wedding. In reality, this was the perfect opportunity to do just that. We really got a feel for each DJ and what sort of energy and experience they brought to the table. I’d recommend this experience to any couples planning their wedding and looking for the right DJ.

My now husband and I booked Lloyd WAY ahead of time of our wedding after hearing such great things about him – we were SO glad we did!!! Lloyd truly made our ENTIRE day being such big music fans! He took the time to go through all of the details, songs, timing, name pronunciation, etc. you name it! He is so friendly and so fun! He kept our guests on the dance floor all night and played ALL of our favorite music! He added so much of his own personality to the music and little moments throughout the day, we loved it! He even got out on the dance floor with us too! We got so many compliments on Lloyd being the best DJ our guests had ever experienced at a wedding. We truly could not have imagined our day without him. We would 10000% recommend Main Event and DJ Lloyd!
The PhotoBooth was a HUGE hit and for anyone thinking they aren’t worth it… you are dead wrong. The attendants were incredible and so helpful the whole night. We chose the option to have them make our guest book with the strips from the booth and it is now a huge conversation piece at our house!
We had a great experience with Kelly Elliott as our DJ, she was personable, easy to work with and most importantly of all she played great music. She was a great emcee and did a great job of getting people dancing! She customized our wedding party entrance and guided us in creating our timeline. Our day was effortless and flowed nicely. DJ Rick Lee was incredible!! We knew from the time we first hopped on the phone with him that DJ Rick would bring the energy and expertise needed to make our wedding amazing. He truly outdid our already high expectations! The music throughout the night was exactly what we needed for a very diverse group to have fun across the board. Everyone at Main Event Entertainment was kind, personable, and resourceful! The showcase is such a great way to get to know DJ(s) prior to choosing a company and/or DJ for your wedding. All of our questions were answered, and we never felt pressured to go with any of the DJs we met or make any decisions that night. I think every company should host events like this. By attending, it alleviate any stress we had about hiring our DJ for our wedding and learned a ton of information about a wonderful company, who truly enjoys what they do and how well they treat the couples they work with! I would absolutely recommend Main Event Entertainment as well as recommend attending on of their showcases!
Kelly did an amazing job with all of our music choices throughout the ceremony, entrances, dinner, and reception. It’s so hard to keep on top of things during your own wedding, especially the timeline without looking at a clock, and Kelly made sure everything went according to plan. She was on the ball with what was happening next, even when we were overwhelmed with the chaos of the day. She was right there with the flowers we were presenting to my aunt for her birthday and brought them over to us for a quick transition to keep things moving. And she did an awesome job of going with the flow (but also checking in with us) when the timeline of the day didn’t quite go according to plan and rolling with plan B. Everyone had fun and we can’t thank her enough.
Dan Pelletier was such a great DJ for our graduate school formal. He was sure to take our song requests without question. There was not a single song we did not like, and everyone had so much fun dancing and singing along. His attention to reading the crowd at times during dinner and when everyone was done eating with regards to song selection were spot on, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was also prepared prior to the event start, which was so calming and reassuring to the event coordinators. We will definitely be contacting him for future events.
My wife and I got married on October 14, 2023. DJ Dan Pelletier was a fantastic wedding DJ! He made the dancing at our wedding night extremely fun and memorable for everyone. My wife and I had a fantastic time on the dancefloor thanks to DJ Dan’s musical choices and our guests are still reminiscing on what a fun time the dancing was. He let us have some “must-have requests” and played some guests requests. Dan also did a great job keeping our timeline on track, directing guests, and general wedding logistics. DJ Dan is thoughtful, professional, and an all-around terrific DJ. Highly recommend!
