We booked DJ Kibar for our 12.21.23 wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Kibar was incredibly attentive and helpful from start to finish, and his professionalism yet fun attitude made it very easy to work with him. He kept the party going and did an amazing job. We had guests who we never thought we’d see dance on the dance floor, if that tells you anything!

Tom Darling was very professional and friendly to work with! Our wedding day was the most amazing experience, and having Tom there eased a lot of stress and unknowns as he was great at keeping things flowing. I attended a wedding this past weekend that Joey Dion was DJing. What a great time!! He was so creative and so much fun!! At no point was he on “auto-pilot”. At one point, in one of the speeches, someone mentioned listening to Bone Thugs N Harmony when they were young, and as they finished the speech, he started playing “Crossroads”. Such a riot!! Everyone got a kick out of it!! He was so involve and kept the dance floor full all night. I’ve never been to an event where a DJ could read a crowd so well. My husband and I could not be more happy that we were matched with Tom Darling for our wedding. From the moment we met Tom prior to the wedding we knew he was going to be an incredible dj. He was easy to talk to, had multiple options for songs to play for different events throughout the night and went out of his way to make sure the songs we wanted played he was able to find. Our guest raved about the music throughout the wedding night and commented on the amazing energy Tom brought. In addition, we were lucky to have Justin Mellan who assisted Tom. He was equally as energetic! Our DJ, Tyler Campbell, was incredible. He worked with us to craft the perfect playlist for both our ceremony and reception and kept the party going all night long!
We used Adam as our DJ and couldn’t have be happier. People were dancing all night. He knew the perfect music to play. He came up to us multiple times during the night to keep us informed on the order of things and what we needed to start thinking about. He was super nice and very accessible. My husband and I got married on 12.18.23 and Hayden was our DJ! When I tell you this man is AMAZING at his job I mean it! He had some of the smoothest transitions, I have ever heard when it comes to music! We are predominantly metal and rock enthusiast, and Hayden picked out songs that were so in line for what we were wanting. To toss in some Christmas music as well was perfect, it got everyone up and jumping! There were so many compliments that came in from our families, saying that Hayden was one of the best DJs they’ve ever heard. He helped make our special day even better, and my husband and I are forever grateful that we got paired with him! Hayden, thank you so much for making our wedding amazing!
Tom was amazing. He was very charismatic and very polite and before setting up a game or making an announcement he was able to find me or my husband and ask us for timing or how we would like things to go. He was very attentive to the crowd and found songs that keep people dancing the whole time. I really can’t say enough good things about him, he helped keep everything super organized and running well and it took minimal effort on our part.

Kelly Elliott is absolutely incredible. First, as a DJ, she did a great job of reading the crowd and playing music that got people up to dance and have fun (but also slowed it down during dinner). But, more importantly, she is an awesome MC. From announcing the wedding party to keeping the flow of the reception schedule, the entire reception felt seamless, professional, and fun. She also read our “cues” and was able to go with the flow according to what we wanted. I don’t think we were high maintenance, but we demanded a lot from her, and she smiled, cooperated, and made everyone feel comfortable. When you are choosing a DJ, please remember that a DJ does more than play music – she is also in charge of the flow, the ambiance, and character of your reception. Choose wisely.

Brien Lafferty was amazing. We had a small-ish informal wedding in September. Brien’s choice of music allowed EVERYONE the opportunity to get up and dance, fast or slow. I think songs should vary in that way so all can have fun. Ive been to weddings where there may be just a handful of slower songs and I feel that its not always enjoyable for the people that dont like to get up and dance the faster ones. I really appreciated Brien’s decision to change it up. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so much fun and memorable!
DJ Matt is the BEST! Not only was communication so easy and thorough, he has a great personality and is so talented. I’m a wedding photographer, so I see a lot of weddings and had no doubt in my mind that I wanted Main Event to be part of my day. Matt had the dance floor packed, was so kind to my family/guests, and has a great set up that suits every space. 10/10 would recommend – Main Event has it down!
DJ was excellent! The sound during the ceremony was perfect! Not too loud, and not too soft. We had wanted an organist, but Adam made sure we did not miss having one. This continued through the whole night. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. No one wanted to leave. We’d recommend him to anyone – and already have! Everyone at Main Event Entertainment was kind, personable, and resourceful! The showcase is such a great way to get to know DJ(s) prior to choosing a company and/or DJ for your wedding. All of our questions were answered, and we never felt pressured to go with any of the DJs we met or make any decisions that night. I think every company should host events like this. By attending, it alleviate any stress we had about hiring our DJ for our wedding and learned a ton of information about a wonderful company, who truly enjoys what they do and how well they treat the couples they work with! I would absolutely recommend Main Event Entertainment as well as recommend attending on of their showcases!

Main Event was a fantastic vendor to work with, great communication, organized, professional. Our DJ, Matt Perez, killed it! Our conversations prior to the wedding were great and he was very helpful in helping us pick all the right music, including some suggestions for the ceremony/special events. The dance floor was full all night, all ages guests! Matt also took great care of other details above and beyond his role. His equipment was professional and looked great in the space. Very happy and would recommend if you are looking for an fun event! Everyone had a great time and multiple people said Best DJ ever!
We weren’t really sure what to expect going in but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The team at Main Event Entertainment greeted us right away. They were friendly and welcoming. They took the time to ask about our needs and go over their offerings with us. My fiance and I had joked about sampling DJ’s in order to find one for our wedding. In reality, this was the perfect opportunity to do just that. We really got a feel for each DJ and what sort of energy and experience they brought to the table. I’d recommend this experience to any couples planning their wedding and looking for the right DJ.

JAY WAS AMAZING! Before our event he was very easy to communicate with through email. Always responded quickly and was helpful. He fully understood our personalities and the atmosphere we were going for. He was accommodating so much so that he watched a TV show we asked him to watch so he would understand how we wanted to be introduced. He was funny, professional, prompt, kept the flow moving and was not corny (my biggest fear with DJs). I am sad our wedding is over because now it means we won’t have Jay reaching out to us- honestly he became one of our friends through this because he was that awesome! Everyone should use Jay!

My husband and I hired Tom Darling for our wedding on 9/30/23. Tom was such a pleasure to work with, incredibly kind and super fun! He did such an amazing job keeping the party going and reading the crowd. He was also super accommodating and did everything he could to make our day special! We loved his work and would absolutely recommend him to other brides.
One of the perks of using our wedding venue (Granite Rose in Hampstead, NH) is they include a DJ through Main Event Entertainment in our chosen package. We were given a worksheet to fill out with our music preferences, and Main Event Entertainment paired us with the perfect DJ, DJ Lloyd Mnaphi. The week before the wedding, we had an opportunity to speak with Lloyd. During this conversation we were able to go over all the details of the day and voice any opinions or concerns. Lloyd was very knowledgeable, easy going and funny and by the end of the phone call, we looked forward to having him be our DJ on the big day. Then the big day came and Lloyd did an incredible job! He made sure to check in with us and made sure everyone partied the night away. Once the event was over, we had numerous people approach us asking if we knew Lloyd before the wedding or if he was recommended. Many people were shocked to hear that he was assigned to us by Main Event Entertainment after only reviewing our worksheet. We would highly recommend Main Event Entertainment and Lloyd to people looking for a DJ or getting married at Granite Rose!
We had Hayden DJ our wedding reception and he was amazing. My wife and I are both close to the same age as him, so when we described the type of music we were looking for, he completely understood and came up with an amazing playlist
Matt did an amazing job at our wedding. He was polite, courteous and did everything we had discussed at our meetings. We asked for a couple changes last minute and he was so calm and amazing about it. He was fun and all our guests made comments on how terrific our dj was and asked us where we found him so if they needed an entertainer they could look him up, they loved him. Our wedding reception was a lot of fun and Matt was a major reason why. We would use his services and Main Event again definitely. Thanks you so much for helping make our big day a huge success.

Kevin Maldonado was our DJ. And honestly he was phenomenal. He brought the energy all day. Was great at making all the announcements that was needed. The playist he made for us was great. 10 for 10 will be raving about him for years to come. Our guest have even asked about him and have all had great things to say. So needless to say we loved Kevin and sincerely hope that anyone who sees this chooses him for your special day. He definitely made our day memorable.
Brien was our DJ and he was fantastic to work with. He coordinated with our other vendors. Played music that people didn’t stop dancing too and he looked like he was enjoying himself. He also incorporated some wrestling stuff we enjoy. I would highly recommend him for any event!

DJ Kevin Maldonado was fantastic at our holiday party for children & adults with special needs. We originally asked him to keep the sound low due to sensory concerns, but it turned out our folks loved the louder dance music! Kevin had everyone up on the floor, dancing until the end! He was very professional and considerate, and played the Happy Birthday song for one of our kids. He also accommodated requests and probably played “YMCA” at least twice. Kevin M. will be our choice to DJ for our next party. 🙂
I got married on 6/23/12 and Joey Dion was our DJ. He was incredible!!! Joey did a wonderful job with the introductions and definitely got everyone in the mood to party! When Joey opened up the dance floor, it was immediately full and stayed that way the entire night! He knew exactly what music to play to keep guests on the dance floor and that was exactly what we wanted 
Joey also brought along bubbles and blow up air guitars which everyone LOVED! He is a very sweet guy, and kept checking in with me to see if I wanted any specific songs, or if I was ok with songs that people requested. I would highly recommend Joey to anyone!
