Adam was absolutely PERFECT! He would come over to make sure everything was going well frequently and never missed a beat! I especially loved that the music choice he had for our reception was everything and more than I asked for! I could NOT stop dancing! I loved every song he played! At the end of the night I was surprised with a specialized CD for us of our special songs! If we ever have another event I will want him at it!
My husband and I hired Tom Darling for our wedding on 9/30/23. Tom was such a pleasure to work with, incredibly kind and super fun! He did such an amazing job keeping the party going and reading the crowd. He was also super accommodating and did everything he could to make our day special! We loved his work and would absolutely recommend him to other brides.
Meet the DJs Night was AWESOME! It was great to chat with some of the DJs and get to know them a little more rather than making a blind decision and risking not having a connection with whoever we chose. Everyone was so kind and personable, and it made us feel so comfortable going with Main Event. Everyone was so helpful, and didn’t put pressure on us to choose someone that night. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality DJ!
Jay made every step of the planning process as easy as possible. He did research on the songs & artists I requested, and it showed. He listened to every single question Clare & I had, and answered them in the quickest fashion. He was on time, if not early, and he was courteous to all the guests. 11/10 for Jay! He even helped to find a song for Clare & I to do our duet! During the reception, he kept things rolling, and fun at the same time! The games were a great suggestion from him, they were a HIT! The music during the reception was awesome, and he RAN the dance floor with the jams. Would recommend to everybody, forever. Cheers!
DJ Matt Perez was AMAZING. The energy in the room was crazy right from the start of the night and didn’t end until the very last song. He exuded such professionalism while also being so fun and personable. I couldn’t be more impressed. The first thing our guests told us about our day is how amazing Matt was and how much fun they had on the dance floor. His ability to read the room and play music that we all loved was unmatched. I can’t recommend him enough- he made our day!

We had a great time getting to know Joey and how the process works at Main Event Entertainment. We appreciated getting walked through the process so we know what to expect with future appointments. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed the relaxed environment where we didn’t feel rushed or like we had to decide anything on the spot.
DJ Dan was INCREDIBLE– from helping to plan our music, to understanding our wedding timeline, communication and day-of he was so great, especially with making sure the sound at the ceremony was perfect, (we had no electricity there either) and the dance floor was NEVER empty, it was perfect.
Dan Pelletier was such a great DJ for our graduate school formal. He was sure to take our song requests without question. There was not a single song we did not like, and everyone had so much fun dancing and singing along. His attention to reading the crowd at times during dinner and when everyone was done eating with regards to song selection were spot on, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was also prepared prior to the event start, which was so calming and reassuring to the event coordinators. We will definitely be contacting him for future events.
Rob was our DJ and he was fantastic! His music got everyone up and dancing and kept the party going all night!.
Rob was absolutely amazing. His music was such a great variety and he brought such a positive and entertaining energy that made our special day perfect.
Joey was amazing!! We are still getting compliments on how great the DJ was! He played a great variety of music and he knew what music got the crowd going! Everyone including my 80 year old grandparents were up on the dance floor with their hands up! He went above and beyond and made our wedding day one we will never forget. He was involving the crowd, played the music we asked for and I can honestly say we do not have one bad thing to say! I would hire him again and again and again. I have recommended him to all my friends who are getting married. The BEST DJ, I promise you that!
Hayden was our DJ for our wedding on 1.21.24. He was spectacular throughout the entire day and every meeting leading up to the wedding. We definitely didn’t make it easy for him during our meetings but he worked through it with us and was extremely courteous & professional each time. Hayden had an incredible music selection and matched our tastes perfectly! Could not be happier. Thank you so much!
Kibar was entertaining and did a great job. He put our minds at ease and took care of everything flawlessly.
DJ Kibar was absolutely top notch. He kept up with us in terms of contact and information from booking up until our wedding date. He would check in with us periodically and had meetings in order to make sure we had all of our main musical selections chosen and organized. He ensured our wedding ran smoothly and worked great with our coordinator. He played piano for our ceremony and it was fantastic. Our guests loved his transitions and kept complimenting his DJ’ing style and he took care in what music was played for our wedding based on our tastes. We felt very confident during the whole process and happy with our choice in DJ. He takes pride in his work and it really shows.
I hired Meagan for behind-the-scenes wedding content and she was absolutely amazing to work with! She is so kind, easygoing, and felt like an instant friend the moment she arrived. Meagan felt like a part of my team so seamlessly, captured everything so naturally, and brought such a fun, positive energy to the day. Her eye for candid (and creative moments) is incredible, and the content she creates truly tells the story of the day. I can’t recommend her enough – she’s a total gem and someone I can’t wait to work with again! HIRE HYPE GIRL CONTENT CREATION!
We cannot RAVE enough about DJ Rob and all that this company did to make our wedding absolutely perfect. He is such an incredible human and did the best job at keeping everyone excited and dancing the entire night!
Tom was very friendly, personable and professional. He tentative to do what we wanted and also making suggestions of things to be done, Tom was also very patient with the younger kids and all their music requests!
DJ Matt is the BEST! Not only was communication so easy and thorough, he has a great personality and is so talented. I’m a wedding photographer, so I see a lot of weddings and had no doubt in my mind that I wanted Main Event to be part of my day. Matt had the dance floor packed, was so kind to my family/guests, and has a great set up that suits every space. 10/10 would recommend – Main Event has it down!
We had a great experience having Joey as our DJ and he did everything we expected. His price was what he said it would be. His sense of humor attracted us and we love that he’s down-to-earth. Also, we kept in mind the importance of him being the owner of Main Event and his past experience. I would say the best part of having Joey as our DJ would be his energetic attitude. We would highly recommend him, in fact we already have friends who are interested!
At our reception, he did a light show, bubbles, props and line dances. We continue to hear comments from friends and family that our reception was so much fun and that they had such a good time. It feels so good to hear that. We know Joey was such a huge part of making our wedding day memorable for not only us but for our guests.
Matt did an amazing job at our wedding. He was polite, courteous and did everything we had discussed at our meetings. We asked for a couple changes last minute and he was so calm and amazing about it. He was fun and all our guests made comments on how terrific our dj was and asked us where we found him so if they needed an entertainer they could look him up, they loved him. Our wedding reception was a lot of fun and Matt was a major reason why. We would use his services and Main Event again definitely. Thanks you so much for helping make our big day a huge success.
DJ Kevin Maldonado was fantastic at our holiday party for children & adults with special needs. We originally asked him to keep the sound low due to sensory concerns, but it turned out our folks loved the louder dance music! Kevin had everyone up on the floor, dancing until the end! He was very professional and considerate, and played the Happy Birthday song for one of our kids. He also accommodated requests and probably played “YMCA” at least twice. Kevin M. will be our choice to DJ for our next party. 🙂
The whole concept of meeting the DJs available on your date and hearing their story was great and so helpful in making a connection and finding someone you jive with. Everyone we met with was super friendly and knowledgeable. The dj we had in mind wasn’t at the night we went to but meeting everyone helped solidify us wanting to work with Main Event Entertainment for our wedding.
DJ Kelly was absolutely amazing. She was always prepared for anything. She truly helped direct us during the chaos of planning a wedding. She was very accessible and dependable! The lighting and music was amazing and it made our wedding a hit! People couldn’t wait to get on the dance floor and didn’t want to get off when the time came. Kelly is very professional and knowledgeable. She definitely know what she’s doing! I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to have an amazing wedding! Thanks a bunch!
Brien Lafferty was amazing. We had a small-ish informal wedding in September. Brien’s choice of music allowed EVERYONE the opportunity to get up and dance, fast or slow. I think songs should vary in that way so all can have fun. Ive been to weddings where there may be just a handful of slower songs and I feel that its not always enjoyable for the people that dont like to get up and dance the faster ones. I really appreciated Brien’s decision to change it up. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so much fun and memorable!
We had Josh B as our wedding DJ and he did a fantastic job! He went above and beyond making sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it!
Kelly was very communicative with us and very organized. She did a great job adjusting as the evening progressed and making needed changes based on time constraints. She was very adaptable. She kept the dance floor going strong which was our goal.
My husband and I could not be more happy that we were matched with Tom Darling for our wedding. From the moment we met Tom prior to the wedding we knew he was going to be an incredible dj. He was easy to talk to, had multiple options for songs to play for different events throughout the night and went out of his way to make sure the songs we wanted played he was able to find. Our guest raved about the music throughout the wedding night and commented on the amazing energy Tom brought. In addition, we were lucky to have Justin Mellan who assisted Tom. He was equally as energetic! Both Tom and Justin made a point to check in with us throughout the night, kept the guest on the dance floor (no joke, our dance floor was never bare), and overall made the night one we’ll never forget!
The PhotoBooth was a HUGE hit at our wedding!! The attendants were so awesome and easy to work with. My husband and I are so glad we chose to get the PhotoBooth. Our guests had a blast taking pictures!
Main Event made our day complete with beautiful music and well organized dj services. Tyler was a pleasure to work with, answering all of our questions and making adjustments to the line up when requested. We would recommend Main Event to anyone looking for a quality dj service with great staff, sound equipment, and musical lineups!
I could not have been any happier with my experience working with Main Event. Everyone was so kind and professional. DJ Kibar was incredible from the day we booked him. Up until the day of the wedding he was extremely communicative and flexible. He made planning so easy and fun. The day of the wedding he was so upbeat and kept everyone dancing all night. The PhotoBooth attendees were amazing! They helped everyone out and printed photos for everyone in the group. They even grabbed us to take photos with some props! Very personable!
Joey was awesome! We’ve received so many compliments about how great the music was and how everyone wanted to be out on the dance floor for the entire time! Our wedding reception was a blast!

DJ Rick Lee was incredible!! We knew from the time we first hopped on the phone with him that DJ Rick would bring the energy and expertise needed to make our wedding amazing. We booked DJ Kibar for our 12.21.23 wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Kibar was incredibly attentive and helpful from start to finish, and his professionalism yet fun attitude made it very easy to work with him. He kept the party going and did an amazing job. We had guests who we never thought we’d see dance on the dance floor, if that tells you anything!
Kibar was amazing to work with! He not only incorporated all of the requested songs throughout the night, but he made it so that everyone wanted to dance the night away. We enjoyed everything he did and would recommend him to anyone! Thanks Kibar for helping to make our day so wonderful!
Kelly did an amazing job with all of our music choices throughout the ceremony, entrances, dinner, and reception. It’s so hard to keep on top of things during your own wedding, especially the timeline without looking at a clock, and Kelly made sure everything went according to plan. She was on the ball with what was happening next, even when we were overwhelmed with the chaos of the day. She was right there with the flowers we were presenting to my aunt for her birthday and brought them over to us for a quick transition to keep things moving. And she did an awesome job of going with the flow (but also checking in with us) when the timeline of the day didn’t quite go according to plan and rolling with plan B. Everyone had fun and we can’t thank her enough.
Joey was AMAZING! We could not have asked for or had a better experience. Extremely accommodating, very detailed, energetic, and have not heard anything but positive feedback about our choice in DJ. We got matched with DJ Tyler Campbell through our venue, Granite Rose, and we could not have been happier! Tyler was an amazing DJ and his taste in music matched ours perfectly. SO many people asked us if we provided the DJ with the song list because it was that on point. It was all the songs we listened to and partied to, a great mix of oldies from our teen years and new songs. And multiple people commented on how he had the volume at the perfect level- loud enough to feel like a party but not loud enough to make your ears ring or deter you from talking on the dance floor. I don’t think I ever saw the dance floor go empty (except when desserts came out and everyone sat back down to eat), and the fact that most of our friends stayed until closing time at 10pm on a Sunday speaks to how awesome Tyler was as a DJ.
