My now husband and I booked Lloyd WAY ahead of time of our wedding after hearing such great things about him – we were SO glad we did!!! Lloyd truly made our ENTIRE day being such big music fans! He took the time to go through all of the details, songs, timing, name pronunciation, etc. you name it! He is so friendly and so fun! He kept our guests on the dance floor all night and played ALL of our favorite music! He added so much of his own personality to the music and little moments throughout the day, we loved it! Our DJ, Tyler Campbell, was incredible. He worked with us to craft the perfect playlist for both our ceremony and reception and kept the party going all night long!

My husband and I could not be more happy that we were matched with Tom Darling for our wedding. From the moment we met Tom prior to the wedding we knew he was going to be an incredible dj. He was easy to talk to, had multiple options for songs to play for different events throughout the night and went out of his way to make sure the songs we wanted played he was able to find. Our guest raved about the music throughout the wedding night and commented on the amazing energy Tom brought. In addition, we were lucky to have Justin Mellan who assisted Tom. He was equally as energetic! Both Tom and Justin made a point to check in with us throughout the night, kept the guest on the dance floor (no joke, our dance floor was never bare), and overall made the night one we’ll never forget!

The PhotoBooth attendees were amazing! They helped everyone out and printed photos for everyone in the group. They even grabbed us to take photos with some props! Very personable!
Ragged Mountain
Kelly Elliott is absolutely incredible. First, as a DJ, she did a great job of reading the crowd and playing music that got people up to dance and have fun (but also slowed it down during dinner). But, more importantly, she is an awesome MC. From announcing the wedding party to keeping the flow of the reception schedule, the entire reception felt seamless, professional, and fun. She also read our “cues” and was able to go with the flow according to what we wanted. I don’t think we were high maintenance, but we demanded a lot from her, and she smiled, cooperated, and made everyone feel comfortable. When you are choosing a DJ, please remember that a DJ does more than play music – she is also in charge of the flow, the ambiance, and character of your reception. Choose wisely.
Lake Opechee Inn
DJ Matt Perez was AMAZING. The energy in the room was crazy right from the start of the night and didn’t end until the very last song. He exuded such professionalism while also being so fun and personable. I couldn’t be more impressed. The first thing our guests told us about our day is how amazing Matt was and how much fun they had on the dance floor. His ability to read the room and play music that we all loved was unmatched. I can’t recommend him enough- he made our day!
We used Adam as our DJ and couldn’t have be happier. People were dancing all night. He knew the perfect music to play. He came up to us multiple times during the night to keep us informed on the order of things and what we needed to start thinking about. He was super nice and very accessible. We were thrilled with the outcome of both our ceremony and reception music!
Westford Regency Inn
Hayden was our DJ for our wedding on 1.21.24. He was spectacular throughout the entire day and every meeting leading up to the wedding. We definitely didn’t make it easy for him during our meetings but he worked through it with us and was extremely courteous & professional each time. Hayden had an incredible music selection and matched our tastes perfectly! Could not be happier. Thank you so much!
Kibar was entertaining and did a great job. He put our minds at ease and took care of everything flawlessly.
Church Landing
DJ Dan was INCREDIBLE– from helping to plan our music, to understanding our wedding timeline, communication and day-of he was so great, especially with making sure the sound at the ceremony was perfect, (we had no electricity there either) and the dance floor was NEVER empty, it was perfect.
If you can, book Tom Darling as your DJ; you certainly will not regret it! He was so easy to collaborate with, professional, personable, and so much fun. He took our playlist and used it perfectly while still adding in lots of music to get everybody out on the dance floor. People said to us after the wedding that they usually never spend that much time dancing! To top off his professionalism, he even drove home one of our guests who was without a ride at the end of the night. Such a gentleman! My husband and I can’t recommend him highly enough! Thank you, Tom!
We had a great experience having Joey as our DJ and he did everything we expected. His price was what he said it would be. His sense of humor attracted us and we love that he’s down-to-earth. Also, we kept in mind the importance of him being the owner of Main Event and his past experience. I would say the best part of having Joey as our DJ would be his energetic attitude. We would highly recommend him, in fact we already have friends who are interested!
At our reception, he did a light show, bubbles, props and line dances. We continue to hear comments from friends and family that our reception was so much fun and that they had such a good time. It feels so good to hear that. We know Joey was such a huge part of making our wedding day memorable for not only us but for our guests.
Church Landing
Jay was awesome. We had a rather small wedding crowd with shy guests. He was able to get them up and dancing, and kept everyone entertained. Even when dancing slowed down, everyone loved the music being played and there were smiles all around! He was all around exactly what our party needed!
Common Man Plymouth
Kelly did an amazing job with all of our music choices throughout the ceremony, entrances, dinner, and reception. It’s so hard to keep on top of things during your own wedding, especially the timeline without looking at a clock, and Kelly made sure everything went according to plan. She was on the ball with what was happening next, even when we were overwhelmed with the chaos of the day. She was right there with the flowers we were presenting to my aunt for her birthday and brought them over to us for a quick transition to keep things moving. And she did an awesome job of going with the flow (but also checking in with us) when the timeline of the day didn’t quite go according to plan and rolling with plan B. Everyone had fun and we can’t thank her enough.
Our DJ Brien Lafferty was AMAZING! He had the best energy and played such a great variety of music as we had people of all different ages at our wedding. People are still talking about how great the music at our wedding was.! He listened to all of our requests for the songs we wanted in our ceremony introductions, and all of our important dances. His personality completely fit with our wedding guest and really made the entire night a blast.! We couldn’t have asked for a better fit for what we envisioned for our wedding night and highly recommend him for any event you are planning. We will definitely be booking him again for future events we will be hosting!

My husband and I hired Tom Darling for our wedding on 9/30/23. Tom was such a pleasure to work with, incredibly kind and super fun! He did such an amazing job keeping the party going and reading the crowd. He was also super accommodating and did everything he could to make our day special! We loved his work and would absolutely recommend him to other brides.
DJ was excellent! The sound during the ceremony was perfect! Not too loud, and not too soft. We had wanted an organist, but Adam made sure we did not miss having one. This continued through the whole night. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. No one wanted to leave. We’d recommend him to anyone – and already have! I’m a wedding photographer, so I see a lot of weddings and had no doubt in my mind that I wanted Main Event to be part of my day. JAY WAS AMAZING! Before our event he was very easy to communicate with through email. Always responded quickly and was helpful. He fully understood our personalities and the atmosphere we were going for. He was accommodating so much so that he watched a TV show we asked him to watch so he would understand how we wanted to be introduced. He was funny, professional, prompt, kept the flow moving and was not corny (my biggest fear with DJs). I am sad our wedding is over because now it means we won’t have Jay reaching out to us- honestly he became one of our friends through this because he was that awesome! Everyone should use Jay!

We got married 8.12.23 at granite Rose, our DJ, Lloyd Mnaphi, was amazing!! He fulfilled all of our requests, we had my sister in-law surprise officiant the ceremony and He did so good helping us keep that a secret until it was time. All of our guests never left the dance floor as soon as it was party time. We had a fun wedding party and he made this wedding unforgettable for us and our guests. Thank you for an amazing fun filled night as we became Mr&Mrs Dean !!! You were the perfect match to our party.
Kelly was very communicative with us and very organized. She did a great job adjusting as the evening progressed and making needed changes based on time constraints. She was very adaptable. She kept the dance floor going strong which was our goal.
My wife and I got married on October 14, 2023. DJ Dan Pelletier was a fantastic wedding DJ! He made the dancing at our wedding night extremely fun and memorable for everyone. My wife and I had a fantastic time on the dancefloor thanks to DJ Dan’s musical choices and our guests are still reminiscing on what a fun time the dancing was. He let us have some “must-have requests” and played some guests requests. Dan also did a great job keeping our timeline on track, directing guests, and general wedding logistics. DJ Dan is thoughtful, professional, and an all-around terrific DJ. Highly recommend!

I could not have been any happier with my experience working with Main Event. Everyone was so kind and professional. DJ Kibar was incredible from the day we booked him. I got married on 6/23/12 and Joey Dion was our DJ. He was incredible!!! Joey did a wonderful job with the introductions and definitely got everyone in the mood to party! When Joey opened up the dance floor, it was immediately full and stayed that way the entire night! He knew exactly what music to play to keep guests on the dance floor and that was exactly what we wanted 
Joey also brought along bubbles and blow up air guitars which everyone LOVED! He is a very sweet guy, and kept checking in with me to see if I wanted any specific songs, or if I was ok with songs that people requested. I would highly recommend Joey to anyone! Our wedding was on 9/21/23, and our reception was dj’d by Lloyd Mnaphi. From music on the beach ceremony to meal and dance music, Lloyd had it completely covered. He kept the flow of our event seamless and the dance floor hopping. Was open to requests and had a great rapport with our guests. Everyone was saying, that they enjoyed his energy.
We weren’t really sure what to expect going in but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The team at Main Event Entertainment greeted us right away. They were friendly and welcoming. They took the time to ask about our needs and go over their offerings with us. My fiance and I had joked about sampling DJ’s in order to find one for our wedding. In reality, this was the perfect opportunity to do just that. We really got a feel for each DJ and what sort of energy and experience they brought to the table. I’d recommend this experience to any couples planning their wedding and looking for the right DJ.

Everyone at Main Event Entertainment was kind, personable, and resourceful! The showcase is such a great way to get to know DJ(s) prior to choosing a company and/or DJ for your wedding. All of our questions were answered, and we never felt pressured to go with any of the DJs we met or make any decisions that night. I think every company should host events like this. By attending, it alleviate any stress we had about hiring our DJ for our wedding and learned a ton of information about a wonderful company, who truly enjoys what they do and how well they treat the couples they work with! Tom was amazing. He was very charismatic and very polite and before setting up a game or making an announcement he was able to find me or my husband and ask us for timing or how we would like things to go. He was very attentive to the crowd and found songs that keep people dancing the whole time. I really can’t say enough good things about him, he helped keep everything super organized and running well and it took minimal effort on our part.

One of the perks of using our wedding venue (Granite Rose in Hampstead, NH) is they include a DJ through Main Event Entertainment in our chosen package. We were given a worksheet to fill out with our music preferences, and Main Event Entertainment paired us with the perfect DJ, DJ Lloyd Mnaphi. The week before the wedding, we had an opportunity to speak with Lloyd. During this conversation we were able to go over all the details of the day and voice any opinions or concerns. Lloyd was very knowledgeable, easy going and funny and by the end of the phone call, we looked forward to having him be our DJ on the big day. Then the big day came and Lloyd did an incredible job! He made sure to check in with us and made sure everyone partied the night away. Once the event was over, we had numerous people approach us asking if we knew Lloyd before the wedding or if he was recommended. Many people were shocked to hear that he was assigned to us by Main Event Entertainment after only reviewing our worksheet. We would highly recommend Main Event Entertainment and Lloyd to people looking for a DJ or getting married at Granite Rose!
We met Dan in person ahead of our event, and loved getting to know him. He is super nice and easy to talk to, he’s a dedicated musician, and he has tons of experience both DJing and performing. As musicians ourselves, we felt immediate trust that his musical sensibilities would make him an EXCELLENT DJ for us. And we were right!! Dan kept the party going all night and seamlessly moved through the music we wanted to hear – taking our playlists and blending them with music he knew would fit the vibe. I attended a wedding this past weekend that Joey Dion was DJing. What a great time!! He was so creative and so much fun!! At no point was he on “auto-pilot”. At one point, in one of the speeches, someone mentioned listening to Bone Thugs N Harmony when they were young, and as they finished the speech, he started playing “Crossroads”. Such a riot!! Everyone got a kick out of it!! He was so involve and kept the dance floor full all night. I’ve never been to an event where a DJ could read a crowd so well.
