When Joey opened up the dance floor, it was immediately full and stayed that way the entire night! Dan Pelletier was such a great DJ for our graduate school formal. He was sure to take our song requests without question. Our DJ Rick Lee was absolutely amazing and NAILED the energy of the room. He brought the party and kept it going all night long. He was very respectful of our “do not play” list & made sure all age groups were satisfied with the song choices in order to get everyone on the dance floor! Our favorite part of the entire wedding was the bridal party entrance and the dancing at the end of the night. He was so patient and supportive of any/all ideas our bridal parties had for their entrance & like I previously said, he got the party started right away and he kept the dance floor alive all night long. He was even able to convert songs that he did not have in order to make our day exactly what we wanted. He even came up with his own ideas to give away our center pieces (so it was one less thing I had to think about!! haha) I cannot say enough good things about DJ Rick Lee. 10/10 would recommend.

Brien Lafferty was amazing. We had a small-ish informal wedding in September. Brien’s choice of music allowed EVERYONE the opportunity to get up and dance, fast or slow. I think songs should vary in that way so all can have fun. Ive been to weddings where there may be just a handful of slower songs and I feel that its not always enjoyable for the people that dont like to get up and dance the faster ones. I really appreciated Brien’s decision to change it up. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so much fun and memorable!

I am not sure I can adequately explain how thrilled not only my husband and I were, but since the event I’ve had numerous phone calls full of praise him. Jay was the DJ for my combined 70th birthday and retirement party and we had asked for fairly specific artists, as the crowd was a bit older than what you would typically find at a wedding. However, the way Jay spun those tunes and the dancing on the floor, you would have thought you were in fact at a wedding! What a party! What a FABULOUS time! Over and above that, Jay is personable, knowledgeable and very professional and fun! I know we would hire him again in a heartbeat and I’m pretty sure some of the guests have his contact information. At our reception, he did a light show, bubbles, props and line dances. We continue to hear comments from friends and family that our reception was so much fun and that they had such a good time. My wife Danielle and I had DJ Hayden for our wedding and he was excellent. We had a great feeling about him when we met him for our meeting on Zoom and when it came to the big day, he was spot on. He was very detail oriented, arrived early, and when our procession had a slight delay he adjusted the music on the fly to keep the timing correct. We didn’t have a huge dancing crowd but those of us on the dancefloor had a great time with his awesome music mixes. We would go with Hayden again if we needed another DJ.

Everyone at Main Event Entertainment was kind, personable, and resourceful! The showcase is such a great way to get to know DJ(s) prior to choosing a company and/or DJ for your wedding. Our DJ Tom Darling was so amazing! From going out in the heat and humidity making sure our sound checks were perfect for the ceremony to understanding our facial cues when my husband and I didn’t realize how long 40 seconds was for our first dance! Tom was fantastic. There’s always a bit of concern when a Dj says they’ll read the room to interpret what type of music to play and make sure the night flows, but with Tom he didn’t read the room, he wrote it! If you book Tom, and I highly suggest you do, make sure he gets up and dances to all the cheesy songs with you. One of the nights shining moments!
